One of my favourite influences when creating with aromas and their visuals are traditional fairy tales.
In particular, I love all things Brothers Grimm and their weird and wonderful collection of original folk tales. So, for the August 2021 Bettyrose Creations Essential Oil Subscription Box I have delved into the traditional folklore story of Snow White and Red Rose.
Those of you who do not know this traditional tale will be forgiven for thinking of Disneys Snow White, but in actual fact this tale has nothing to do with the Disney story.
The only common thread is the use of the name Snow White.
In this old German folk story, we have two beautiful young women, named after botanicals in their mothers cottage garden.
One is quiet and shy and likes to read. The other is lively and outgoing who loves being outdoors. This is a traditional story that rewards kindness and demonstrates how sharing through the seasons can help us all to be closer to nature.

Pure essential oils of Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) diluted Jasmine (Jasminum) Lemon ( Citrus × limon) Frankincense(Boswellia)
Natural, sustainable & biodegradable soy wax, with and home grown and air dried white lace Hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla).
Qualities of melts, oils and botanicals
The top note of lemon will initially offer you an uplifting and gentle fruity aroma, next you will be gently eased into a relaxing and comforting floral aromatic hug of middle notes chamomile and jasmine. Finally the beautiful base note of frankincense will secure and ground you into this gentle and peaceful aromatic experience.
Chamomile:
Emotionally, it brings about a sense of calm and peacefulness, which can often be closely related to a person's ability to lean into trust, promote serenity in all areas of life
Jasmine
It's said to be the oil of support, helping you find your own inner support and strength, rooting yourself into your own centre
Lemon
Uplifting and soothing with a character to cleanse both the environment and the person using the melts.
Frankincense -
With high vibrational aroma frankincense essential oil is commonly used in prayer and meditation, it can help a person lean into a deeper connection of our own understanding.
Lemon -lemon essential oil promotes focus and clarity offering an uplifting and energetic energy.

Qualities of melts, oils and botanicals
Lively, sumptuous bursts of blossoms is what this wax melt will offer you. With intense floral middle heart notes of, Geranium, and Neroli, you will feel as if you are walking into a warm summer garden at evening time when all the blossoms are bursting with their aromas.
To hold, secure and bring depth to the these beautiful floral notes, Ylang Ylang as a middle / base and Vetiver as a base aromatic note, will ground your senses and prolong this rich fragrance indulgence .
Vetiver-Vetiver is a deeply grounding oil, often used to promote restful sleep, but equally helpful when you feel restless.
Geranium-This heart-centre oil helps us to heal, tear down barriers, release anger, and manage overwhelming emotions. Powerful in aroma with a beautiful long lasting scent.
Ylang Ylang —On an emotional level, ylang ylang essential oil is one of the oils of the heart. It can help us connect, process and heal.
Rose -this oil helps us to open our heart and soul to love and spiritual connections.
Neroli - Neroli’s aroma is known to offer confidence and support while helping to restore balance.
Red rose -Rose symbolises love and fertility.
